Coronavirus COVID-19

Wednesday 25th March 2020

We are continually monitoring the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19 and how this is affecting travel. We understand many of our customers are concerned and have questions regarding holiday bookings.

The following information should answer many of the questions you have but please note the information could change and we ask you to regularly check for any updates. You should also check travel advice from your own government. We have included some useful links below which we would encourage you to view.

As the situation regarding COVID-19 is regularly changing we recommend you wait until your balance payment due date before making any changes to your holiday booking. If you are concerned about a holiday you have booked with us in 2020 you have the following options:

Self-guided holiday bookings
More than 56 days before your holiday start date
We normally treat rebooking for another date as a cancellation and loss of deposit. However, please contact us if you wish to request a delay in your holiday start date to later in 2020 or for 2021 (subject to availability of accommodation). We will not apply our cancellation charge to any delays in your holiday start date, instead we will charge a 50 per person administration fee plus any additional costs we incur e.g. lost accommodation deposits or accommodation price increases for 2021 holidays. The 50 is payable prior to booking change.
Less than 56 days before your holiday start date
If your holiday start date is within the next 56 days our usual booking conditions and cancellation terms will apply. If you are forced to cancel your holiday booking with us, we recommend you contact your insurance company to enquire about recovering any cancellation costs.

Guided holiday bookings
More than 70 days before your holiday start date
If you wish to transfer your holiday booking prior to your final balance payment due date, we will do the utmost to accommodate your request, subject to a 100 per person administration charge plus any additional costs we may incur.
Less than 70 days before your holiday start date
If your holiday start date is within the next 70 days our usual booking conditions and cancellation terms will apply. If you are forced to cancel your holiday booking with us, we recommend you contact your insurance company to enquire about recovering any cancellation costs.

Cancellation by us
If we are unable to operate your holiday the following options will apply
1. We can postpone your holiday start date to later in 2020 or in 2021, subject to availability of accommodation.
2. Offer a credit note to use against a future holiday.
3. Cancel your holiday and issue a full refund including deposit and any balance paid, but we will not have any further liability to you.

Factors outside our control
If we can provide your holiday but you are unable to travel due to travel restrictions you will need to contact your insurance company to enquire about recovering any cancellation costs.
